Leading medium-sized accounting firm
With offices nationwide, SUSAT is one of Germany's leading medium-sized accounting firms. Our 13 senior partners - holding personal liability - and 2 general representatives as well as 21 partners and roughly 500 employees provide our clients with dedicated service at six central locations throughout Germany. Our headquarters are located in Hamburg, with further offices in Munich, Cologne, Berlin, Leipzig, and Frankfurt.

The name SUSAT traces back to a former equity partner, WP/RA Dr. Werner Susat, after whom the company was renamed in 1974 as SUSAT & PARTNER OHG Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft (see history).

The equity partners of SUSAT are not only investors, they are also managers who guide the company strategically and also play an active role in the daily business of auditing and advising. They stake their names on the quality of our services.

Wide range of services
SUSAT serves clients from the most diverse sectors, regardless of their size or legal form – from medium-sized companies to MDAX- and SDAX-listed groups. In specific areas, such as company valuation, SUSAT has worked with the majority of DAX 30 companies. Our clients range from insurance companies and banks to wholesale firms, retail businesses, and public companies. We not only conduct annual audits in compliance with the German Commercial Code (HGB) and international financial reporting rules. In the areas of Audit and Assurance Services, Tax and Legal, and Corporate Finance, we also offer comprehensive support for company transactions and restructurings, tax planning, and ongoing tax advice. In addition, we offer Assurance Services, such as International Financial Reporting, IT and Business Audit, Internal Audit Services, and Actuarial Consulting. To complement our wide-ranging portfolio of support services, we offer, through SUSAT Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH, comprehensive advisory services in company law and in related areas of commercial law.

Qualified employees
Our employees are distinguished by their high level of expertise. In addition to a university or college degree, they acquire specialised knowledge in their particular fields. Of our roughly 500 employees, 54 are licensed as auditors, 3 as certified accountants, and 74 as tax consultants. Other qualifications and qualified positions represented include lawyers, actuaries, CPA, CFA, CISA, etc. Many of our experts, aside from their activities at SUSAT, are also members of the professional organisations of the Institute of Auditors (Institut der Wirtschaftsprüfer) or of the Chamber of Auditors (Wirtschaftsprüferkammer). They are involved in working groups, oversight bodies and expert committees, give lectures, and publish articles and books in their fields of expertise.
